Mona Butters joined Mary Kay in March of 1976.

She became a Director in July of 1979.

In January of 1997 she debuted as a National Sales Director.

Mona was the #1 Sales Director in Iowa for 13 years.

She placed Top 10 for two consecutive years.

In 1984, just 5 years after she debuted as a Director she was the #1 Sales Director in the Ruby Division.

In 1985 and 1986 Mona was the #3 Director in the Ruby Division.

Mona has been driving a fabulous, new Pink Cadillac every other year since 1980.

In 1996 she reached the Million Dollar Circle of Excellence.

In 1997 her Unit achieved the 1.1 Million Dollar Club.

She won a wonderful travel package for her entire family to Blackcomb Whistler, British Columbia, Canada.

Mona has been in the National Court of Sales and Recruiting.

She has won 11 gold medals.

She has been on a Greek Isles Cruise 3 times, Hawaii twice, St Thomas, San Juan, Monte Carlo twice, Hong Kong, Paris twice, Australia, New Zealand, Rome 3 times, London, Germany, Austria, Cruise to Bermuda, New York City, Milan, Madrid, El Conquistador San Juan, Florence, Cruise from Rome to Istanbul, Cruise from Rome to Venice, Switzerland twice, Costa Del Sol, Spain, cruise from Rome to Florence, Portifino, St Tropez, Monte Carlo and Barcelona. Also a luxury cruise from Copenhagen to Stockholm to Estonia and St. Petersburg. Five continents in total.

Mona is featured in many videos, tapes and CD’s for Mary Kay sales force.

She is the Top 1/2 percent of wage earners of women in the United States.

She has served on the Marketing and Sales Boards for Mary Kay, Inc.

When Mona was the #1 Director Mary Kay Ash, came to Des Moines to do a special guest event and be with her family. At that time her sons were 7, 5 and 2.

Mona’s highest check in one calendar month was an excess of $32,000.

Mona is a Mary Kay Multi-Millionaire earning over $3,000,000 in commission in her career.

She is a business coach for hundreds of independent women with entrepreneur spirits.

She is married to Ken Butters, a Des Moines Attorney. She has 3 sons Mark, David, and Stephen Holte and her step-son Stephen Butters and his wife Kyrene.
